✨🐢 Some places don’t just teach you… they change the way you see the world.

As part of our week-long Tour Guide Certification Course, today we had the privilege of visiting the breathtaking Campamento Tortuguero Chalacatepec, a protected natural area on the stunning Costa Alegre of Jalisco.
Standing on this untouched beach, surrounded by the sound of the ocean, we learned about the three incredible species of sea turtles that return here every year to continue a cycle of life that has existed for millions of years. Witnessing the dedication of the conservation team protecting thousands of hatchlings before they begin their journey into the Pacific was a powerful reminder that every small action can help preserve something extraordinary. 🌊💚
Our journey then took us through the charming streets of Barra de Navidad, where every corner has a story to tell and every smile reflects the warmth of its people.

To end this unforgettable day, we drifted through the peaceful mangrove channels, surrounded by birds, nature, and the quiet beauty that reminds us why these ecosystems are worth protecting. 🛶🦜

Being a tour guide is about so much more than showing beautiful places. It’s about understanding their stories, honoring the people who care for them, and inspiring others to protect them for generations to come.

Behind every unforgettable experience is a guide who never stops learning. 🌿💚

This week we’re taking part in an intensive Tour Guide Update Course, expanding our knowledge so we can continue sharing the very best of Mexico with our guests.
Our first adventure takes us to the breathtaking Isla de Navidad, along the stunning Costa Alegre, Jalisco. We hiked through incredible landscapes while learning about the region’s unique flora, fauna, and fascinating birdlife.
A huge thank you to Explora Calocitta for sharing their passion and expertise during this amazing experience, and a special thank you to Adriana Mora our director of the local tourism board, for creating such a perfect way to bring us to the best experiences.
