We have all come to expect many businesses in Vallarta to take time off during "low season" in an effort to conserve resources, but this year we are seeing many of our food partners taking even longer breaks (some sadly closing completely) due to the record-setting drop in tourism since February and the general state of the global economy.

For PV locals or even those who simply love our city, please show extra support for local businesses to help get them through these next 60 days until we start to see an upswing in tourism.

Support can come in many forms and none have to be costly. Buy an extra taco next time you are at a cart, tip a little extra to your server, buy a trinket like a keychain or magnet from a market vendor, or write your favorite business or restaurant a great review on Google.
