"Why would I go to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in the Summer"? There are so many reasons: Great restaurants! Great margaritas! Great beaches! Friendly people! Amazing Summer thunder & ligtning storms! (don't worry, they usually only last an hour or so and usually happen in the evening). The Selva Romantica pool! Guests really love our pool as well as our comfy bed. You should really come down and find out for yourself. It's a quick flight from L.A., San Diego, Phoenix and Houston and makes a great 3 or 4 night getaway. We have dates open from May 13 - 17 and from May 30th onwards. The pool is being repaired from June 1 to mid-August and the price has been reduced accordingly. If you're interested, you can book through Airbnb at www.safari12.com Puerto Vallarta has become quieter now so its much easier getting into restaurants. Come on down.

Temperatures are heating up in Puerto Vallarta but cold margaritas can keep you cool. As well there are hot beaches, great restaurants & fun shopping are all waiting for you. Unlike Cancun, Puerto Vallarta was an old fishing village at one time. Even a young Elizabeth Taylor lived here. (you can see where she & Richard Burton had their affair).

🌴🌞 The snow & cold have settled in and you just want to relax on the beach or by the pool, have a margarita or pina colada and be warm. Puerto Vallarta is open for business and is waiting for you.

Restaurants are open until 10:00PM but unfortunately bars are closed until February 12, 2021. You can still have drinks at restaurants and can buy alcohol at stores.

Flights are now available from Atlanta, Chihuahua, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Guadalajara, Houston, Laredo, Los Angeles,Mexico City CDMX, Manchester, UK, Minneapolis, Monterrey, MX, Newark, Phoenix, Portland, San Diego, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, San Jose, Seattle, Tijuana. Don't forget, starting in December until April 2021, American Airlines will be flying from Charlotte, NC. as well.

The PVR airport has now started doing rapid covid antigen tests. They are only $25 USD and results take 30-45 minutes to get & are emailed to you. These are acceptable for US entry. No appointment is necessary. Rapid antigen is acceptable for entry into the US.

We are here waiting for you. Safety is our main concern. Our suite is cleaned between each guest & is vacant for 24 hours before new guests can check in.

Puerto Vallarta has started opening up and is waiting for you. Restaurants can now be at 50% capacity and bars are now open until 2:00AM (no eating of food required). Flights from L.A., Houston, San Jose, Denver, Dallas, San Francisco, Chicago & Phoneix. Don't forget, starting in December until April, American Airlines will be flying from Charlotte, NC.

As of July 26, 2020, the following is what you can expect.

Our Management company is following Covid-19 cleaning protocols. The State of Jalisco requires all residents (both locals & tourists) to wear masks and to social distance while out on the street and when entering stores. Please keep this in mind if you plan to visit Puerto Vallarta. Only 50% of the people who fit on each beach will be allowed to enter, to avoid saturation and thus prevent infections. All Uber, In Driver, taxis or public transport drivers who are not using the mouthpiece, or have their passengers using it, will be fined. Restaurants can only be open at 50% capacity. Bars can be open as long as they serve food along with drinks. You MUST order food to be able to drink in a bar. Maxiumum length of stay at a bar is 1.5 hours. *

**Effective until at least July 31. No mask, $800 peso fine (approx. $35.00 USD / $50.00 CAD). The use of masks is mandatory on public roads, public spaces, buildings and public transportation.**
