Fishing with friends for fun has been so great this year. Only have been offshore on 6 trips this year, but each trip has resulted
with marlin or tuna.
Yesterday we added 7 nice Yellowfin all caught sight casting with topwater poppers. Life doesn’t get much better…or does it?
Sushi and sashimi this week at Armando's Place?
A quick side note… Yellowfin simply can not resist the Tackle House Feed Poppers from Saltywater Tackle.

FISHING REPORT & FORECAST
The Marlin Club at Riviera Nayarit
February 4, 2021

Best Bet Inshore/Nearshore: Not much has changed since our last report. The fishing remains red hot for African Pompano, Toro, Sierra Mackeral, a variety of different Snappers (Pargo Amarillo, Huachinango, and Coconaco). As an added bonus, you can now add in great grouper fishing (Cabrilla). Winter inshore/nearshore fishing (jigging and casting poppers and stickbaits) while the whales put on their show can’t be beat.

Best Bet Offshore: Get up early and head out to Roca Corbatena for the early Huachinango (Red Snapper) bite. Spend the day catching tasty reef fish with a watchful eye out for Yellowfin Tuna, Striped Marlin, Sailfish, and Dorado. Highly recommended for the serious angler.

Inshore fishing is especially fun when you catch a large variety of fish. Even better when you catch a large variety of great eating fish, such as this Yellow Snapper. Terrific fun on light tackle like the Saltywater Tackle Tortugas Rod. Oh, did I forget to mention, they taste fantastic.

Slow ride, take it easy. With slow jigging you bring up some cool looking fish such as this juvenile African Pompano. Tough fighters on light gear. Nothing beats getting jiggy wit it.
