"And last but not least, and one of my personal faves, the 2026 International Dark Sky Week in Queretaro celebrated the preservation of dark skies is vital for protecting both scientific advancement and the connection to the universe.
Supported by the Secretariat's of Environment and Tourism, the memorable event was made possible through collaborations with local artists, schools, astronomical clubs, and municipal authorities
Deepest gratitude goes to the enthusiastic attendees who participated until the very end, and advocates are looking forward to seeing everyone next year.
So hats off to all of the advocates in Mexico, specifically the state of Queritaro. That was no easy feat. And honestly, the photos that I have been able to see from that event looked phenomenal, and I really wish I was there."

Con el apoyo de las Secretarías de Medio Ambiente y Turismo, este memorable evento fue posible gracias a la colaboración de artistas locales, escuelas, clubes de astronomía y autoridades municipales.
