ABOUT US >>

We are a small tour company that offer a horse riding trip to the village of San Juan de Chamula which is famous for it's church which combines Catholic and Mayan practices.

We leave everyday from "los ches" restaurant at 9:00 a.m. or 12:30 p.m. and then we take for a quick trip in a collectivo out of town to the stables.

We ride for about an hour through the beautiful countryside, in san juan chamula you may enjoy an hour visit on your own and return by horse across the mountain paths.


It is a fantastic trip and only cost of 250 pesos for 3 hours!

San Juan Chamula is a small remote town located 10 km from San Cristobal. It is the principal town of the Tzotzils and it is also the main religious and economic center of the community. We offer you a beautiful trip by horses through the forest to San Juan Chamula, only meet Esther at "los ches" restaurant at 9:00 a.m. or 12:30 p.m. or call (044) 967 100 96 11. We can also arrange to pick you up at any hotel or hostel in San Cristóbal de las Casas.
