Feeling nostalgic today.
During the construction phase of Casa Moonshine, we made a habit of taking a 360° video from the same place each time we visited. It’s pretty amazing to go back now and see all the progress that’s been made over the past four years, and we thought it was worth sharing a few.

Casa Moonshine recently had a dream come true ✨ We had the honor of hosting a “Welcome Party” for about 70 people who traveled so far to our little town of Zacatitos to celebrate the marriage of a couple we all adore, Ella & Thomas.

The evening felt surreal, like walking through a dream. Love, laughter and the smell of fresh Mexican street food flowed throughout the property. The palapa was packed to the brim with friends and family, people gathered around tables in the gardens set under the giant cacti, others lounged around the pool deck, while some caught a beautiful sunset from the rooftop patio. The event brought together so many fun people and created such good vibes. It was the perfect way to kick off what turned out to be a fabulous wedding weekend.

Congrats again to the bride and groom!! And thank you MUCHO to the Hurst & Moroney families for including us in this very special occasion. It was an honor and a joy for us to be a part of. Our family will cherish these memories with all of you for a lifetime! ❤️

I can’t take credit for this chart, but I’d say it’s pretty accurate. I would just argue that in Los Cabos, you are actually safer than in most US cities, even if you do leave your resort. And I would add that you absolutely should leave your resort. Don’t be afraid to go out and talk to friendly locals, eat delicious local food, and explore the beautiful land and sea. Otherwise, you’re totally missing out.

My advice on staying safe in Baja today is no different from what it has always been. Don’t do illegal s**t, don’t go looking for trouble, and don’t be an as***le, just like at home.
