El H. XV Ayuntamiento de Los Cabos, a través de la Dirección General de Ecología y Medio Ambiente, invita a la ciudadanía a reconocer la importancia de las ardillas como parte de la biodiversidad local y del equilibrio de nuestros ecosistemas.

Además de ser un componente valioso de la fauna sudcaliforniana, contribuye a la dinámica natural del entorno al alimentarse de semillas, frutos, tallos, raíces y también insectos, apoyando procesos ecológicos como la dispersión de semillas.

¿Cómo podemos cuidarlas?

No las alimentes ni intentes domesticarlas.

Mantén distancia y evita molestarlas o perseguirlas.

Protege su hábitat: reduce basura, cuida áreas verdes y respeta zonas naturales.
