Overall Catch Success Rate 91.57%
Billfish 44.58%, Dorado 26.51%, Other 7.23%, Tuna 66.27%, Wahoo 4.82%, Roosterfish 2.41%

The thrill of catching 15 to 30 Yellowfin Tuna in a day has been a common occurrence this week, regardless of the bait or lure used. The varying sizes of tuna have been ready for the fishermen, just as the anglers have been prepared for the fish. 🤩👏🏻

The same has been true for the Striped Marlin, Dorado, Wahoo, and many other species, showcasing the diverse and exciting fishing experience. 🤓

Adding a spark of excitement to the week, the beautiful Sailfish have returned to show off their spectacular sails. Plus, the magnificent Blue Marlin have returned to Los Cabos to show off their action-filled battles, and many of the hooked Blues put up a thrilling fight before being released back into the ocean. Stories will echo in the anglers’ memories for years of their encounters with the Blues and the Sails. 🎣💙🌊

Throughout the week, the waters of Cabo bore witness to the impressive skills of seasoned fishermen and novices alike as anglers from all parts of the country engaged in the thrilling dance of fish and line. Each day brought new adventures, with the fleet spreading out to various fishing spots, guided by the experienced Pisces captains and their adept mates. The fishermen’s spirits were buoyed by the clear skies and calm seas, creating perfect conditions for their pursuits.

Monster marlin caught in Cabo San Lucas!
“El Suertudo” (which means the lucky one in Spanish) is a custom private 80 Ft Weaver and they certainly lived up to their name with this 762.5 LB fish, actually caught on Sunday by Micah Stefano , a 21 year old from San Clemente, CA. Not only was the fish big but Micah showed what he is made of, fighting the fish stand-up for close to three hours. The fish may have been bigger, but as they got to back to port late Sunday, they opted to put it in a fish bag overnight and weigh it the next day. So it may have lost a few pounds. The fish was caught on a 50 Talica spooled with 80 LB line. Micah’s dad is Greg DiStefano, captain of El Suertudo, a well known and respected captain, who has along with owner Guy Yocom, been in the winners circle many times during tournament season. Seems like Micah is following in dad’s footsteps

As the week unfolded, the waters of Cabo continued to offer excitement and variety for anglers of all skill levels. Whether it was of success, accomplishment, camaraderie, or an appreciation for the beauty of the ocean, it was another memorable week on the water. Some anglers were excited about catching a trophy fish, while others were pleased with the volume of fish they caught, and many were content with the variety of fish they encountered or hooked in one day. From the smooth, skilled coordination of the captains and mates aboard an assortment of boats, the experiences were as diverse as the anglers themselves. Every angler aboard the Pisces fleet returned with a story. 🌊🎣☀️

Biggest wahoo of the year? Look at this beauty caught by young Riley from Austin , Texas. She follows in the footsteps of mom Alyson, an avid fisherwoman and grandpa Ken Eberle - don’t think either of them have hooked a wahoo of this size! And just 20 minutes- we are impressed! Jane is smiling up there and happy and proud to see the family back in Cabo together - we miss you Jane Eberle😢

An incredible day for teenage Angler Riley yesterday, who landed her biggest Wahoo ever - an 88.5 pounder aboard “Magic Touch”. And we are especially touched to see her at our dock with her dad and mom Alyson, who grew up fishing with her parents Ken and Jane Eberle here in Cabo and all over the world, and who are our dear friends.

Jane and Ken fished for over 20 years with us at Pisces and now we see the third generation enjoying fishing and these moments here in Cabo still.. sadly Jane past away this year, but we remember her and her fishing adventures with her family fondly. We know she would be very proud 🤍

It’s really so much more than catching fish…

AHOO! BLUE MARLIN, DORADO, and TUNA!! 🔥🔥

Overall Catch Success Rate 93.10%
Billfish 59.77%, Dorado 35.63%, Other 16.09%, Tuna 40.23%, Wahoo 13.79%, Roosterfish 2.30%.

What a week. Not only was a 256-pound Blue Marlin caught, but there were also numerous Wahoo, including five that weighed up to 50 pounds and three or four that weighed up to 80 pounds, an almost unheard-of occurrence in the past. The Striped Marlin were too plentiful to count. Most boats were catching at least two, and many were catching up to seven, eight, or nine each day. And of course, there were many other species, Roosterfish and bottom fish. You name it, and the captains can probably find it for you. It’s time to come to Cabo and experience these unique fishing opportunities. 👏🏻👏🏻🎣🎣

INCREDIBLE DAY YESTERDAY 🔥🎣

Big Wahoo - 55 and 60 lbs - plus 13 Yellowfin Tuna for Pisces 35’ Valerie anglers from Oklahoma ! And that’s not all, Pisces 48’ My Way had Wahoo, 2 Dorado, 9 Yellowfin and Striped Marlin released this day.

Pisces 35’ Bill Collector 2 also had a 40 lbs Wahoo plus 7 Yellowfin Tuna, the largest of around 50 lbs.

Fishing is heating up, a total of 64 Yellowfin Tuna caught yesterday for the fleet and 11 Striped Marlin Released.
