1968 Chevrolet Chevelle

1. First Year of the Redesigned A-Body: The 1968 Chevelle marked the debut of a new, more curvaceous body design, with a shorter wheelbase and a longer hood, giving it a sportier appearance.

2. SS 396 Standardization: In 1968, the Super Sport (SS 396) was no longer just an optional package but became a standalone model, powered by a 396 cubic-inch big-block V8 with up to 375 horsepower.
