🦃 Happy Thanksgiving from all of us, amigos!
Today we celebrate good food, good company, and that magical moment when everyone pretends they didn’t have a second slice of pie or margarita haha, Thanksgiving is the perfect reminder to slow down, appreciate the people around us, and be grateful for the little things… like stretchy pants. Yup, I can tell.. haha.
As the great philosopher Kevin McCallister once said in Home Alone:
“You guys give up? Or are you thirsty for more?”
Which, honestly, is exactly how Thanksgiving works after round three of turkey.
Here in Cozumel, Thanksgiving has taken on a special flavor of its own. Even though it’s not a traditional Mexican holiday, the island loves a good celebration, absolutely! and many locals happily join in the fun. Restaurants offer special Thanksgiving menus, families gather for beachside dinners, and visitors enjoy the unique mix of island warmth and holiday comfort. It’s a day where Caribbean breezes meet pumpkin pie, and nobody complains. Here, Karima, the biggest pumpkin pie fan! 😅🫠💐
