📸 The first photographic evidence of the elusive Cozumel fox in over twenty years was captured on a coastal highway in Mexico, confirming the survival of this ancient dwarfed species.
🦊 Urgent conservation measures and targeted population surveys are now being called for to protect this rare mammal from extinction and human-wildlife conflict.
