Cozumel, Yucatán peninsula and Chiapas birding adventures with Elvis.
Just a little over a week ago, we finished an 8 days birding adventure with my new friends Carol and Mitch, we went around the Yucatán peninsula looking for some new bird species for them, we had the pleasure to work with many local guides along the road that helped us get as many species for the trip, i want to thank them all for the help, we ended this amazing expedition with a total of 193 species and 57 lifers or new birds for Carol and Mitch, some of the lifers of course the endemics from Cozumel, The vireo, the emerald hummingbird and the wren, but also some endemics to the peninsula and the state of Yucatán such as the Rose throated tanager, gray throated chat, black throated bobwhite, Yucatán wren, Yucatán gnatcatcher, mexican sheartail, Mottled owl, middle American screech owl, northern potoo and many more, It sure was a great adventure as we also found some other animals as Gray fox, Raccoons, howler monkey, spider monkey, Tayras and more.
