🍗 Cheap food review in Cancun 🌴

I decided to try the chicken breast combo at Súper Chedraui Selecto in the Hotel Zone because the price caught my attention. 💰

When I first saw the plate, I’m not going to lie… I was a little disappointed. 😅 The presentation didn’t exactly scream “can’t wait to eat this.”

But after a few bites, it wasn’t bad at all. In fact, it slightly exceeded my expectations. The chicken was decent, the sides got the job done, and for the price, it was a solid budget-friendly option.

Would I call it a hidden gem? Probably not. Would I eat it again if I wanted an affordable meal in the Hotel Zone? Absolutely. 👌

⭐ Final Rating: 7/10

Sometimes the best reviews aren’t about amazing food, they’re about getting more than you expected.

🌮 Tried the tacos de costilla at Y Costilla Taqueria y Mezcaleria in Tulum and they were 🔥

🌮 They had a promo for 3 tacos for only $99 pesos ($5.75 USD) and honestly… they were delicious. I’m giving them a 9.1/10 👏

The fresh salsas were also 🔥 and really took the tacos to another level.

🍺 Bonus: They also had drink promos with caguamas for $100 pesos or a cubetazo for $150 pesos.

Affordable tacos + beer specials + great flavor = solid stop in Tulum

🚕 Tulum travel hack 🌴

A lot of people come to Tulum expecting Uber… but Uber doesn’t really have drivers here, so we usually use Eiby and inDrive instead.

📱 Eiby works more like Uber, but I recommend paying with cash. If your driver cancels, you could be waiting days for a refund.

💰 inDrive works differently. It’s a bidding system, so you can sometimes save money when Eiby prices surge.

🔥 Bonus Eiby hack: If the price looks high, decline it and move the pickup pin slightly… sometimes a better rate pops up 👀

In large quantities you might start arguing with your family or partner, or worse, texting your ex 😅📱

💪🌮 Post-workout tacos just hit different

Tried the barbacoa tacos at La Regia right in downtown Tulum next to Evolve Gym… and they did not disappoint 🔥

Juicy, flavorful, and exactly what you need after a workout. Solid spot if you’re looking to refuel without overthinking it.

If you’re hitting the gym in Tulum, this might need to be your new post-workout routine 👀

🌮😳 I can’t believe I paid $60 for these street tacos, they were actually 🔥🔥

Super flavorful, fresh, and honestly, might be my new taco spot.
