The work continues at BTV. The main project now is the soft landscaping on the site with local herbs, fruit trees and flowering plants. We will be planting local wild orchids that are indigenous to the local area.

The Rain Forest Music festival is coming in later in the year. we already have guests booked and plan to run a bus from the site to the festival each day.

The accommodation is now ready and we look forward to welcoming larger groups, families and individuals. we are happy to organise comprehensive tours and travel arrangements for your trip to Sarawak. Do get in touch for further information. www.borneotribalvillage.wordpress.com

This is an ideal base to develop an understanding of Bidayuh culture and way of life, both historically and today. We are based near Kampung Apar a thriving Bidayuh village and near to the Redeems Centre. The Redeems is a forward thinking community development project driven by Datuk Peter Nansian, Assistant Minister for Industry and Community Development, and the Redeems Project Team. The Redeems Project Team have a tremendous vision for community development and are currently looking to commence the next phase of the Redeems project which includes the development of a new Long House and Cultural Centre. Other longer term planned developments include the construction of a medical centre and a secondary school. During your stay with us at BTV you can even play squash in the top notch glass back squash courts at the Redeems Centre.
