What a wonderful morning in the field! We were treated to some incredible sightings, including the Malayan Peacock-Pheasant, Cinnamon-rumped Trogon, Banded Kingfisher, and Rufous-collared Kingfisher. Following a distinct drumming sound, it did not take long for this lovely bird to descend to a lower branch.
这真是个美好的早晨！我们幸运地观测到了马来孔雀雉、橙腰咬鹃、横斑翠鸟和栗领翠鸟等鸟类。在听到一阵叩击声后不久，这只可爱的鸟儿就降落到了较低的树枝上。

I still remember that quiet, hot afternoon. Despite spotting this bird, the guests showed little excitement due to the humidity. Everyone had a good view, and I took the opportunity to move to the back for a great photo session with this rare trogon.
我仍然记得那个安静而炎热的下午。尽管看到了这只鸟，但由于湿热，客人们没表现出多少兴奋。大家都看得很清楚，我则抓住机会走到后面，为这只罕见的咬鹃拍了一组精彩的照片。

What an incredible bird photography trip! Over 10 days, we successfully encountered five species of Pitta. Despite navigating flight schedule shifts, windy conditions, and ferry timetables, we managed to help most of our guests photograph their primary target species—including this remarkable Sulawesi endemic.
This particular individual was easily one of the most tame Pittas we have ever observed, remaining just half a meter away from the hide owner.
精彩至极的观鸟摄影之旅！在为期10天的行程中，我们成功记录到了5种八色鸫。尽管面临航班变动、强风天气以及轮渡班次等多重挑战，我们依然协助大多数团员拍摄到了他们的目标鸟种，其中包括这只苏拉威西特有种。
这也是我们见过的最不惧人的八色鸫之一，几乎就呆在鸟棚主人身边，距离仅有半米。

One of the primary target species on our Sulawesi & Halmahera bird photography tour is this large pitta, which remarkably resembles a penguin. We didn’t have to wait long before two birds showed up, offering us fantastic views. However, this large pitta moved quickly, making it a bit of a challenge to get a clean shot.
大型八色鸫是我们苏拉威西和哈马黑拉鸟类摄影之旅的主要目标鸟种之一，它的外形十分酷似企鹅。我们没花太长时间就遇到了两只，它们给到了相当不错的观察视野。不过这种大型八色鸫移动非常迅速，这次没能留下特别理想的拍摄机会。

Another dusk spent chasing a target owl we missed before. Just as light was fading, it flew past twice, giving me the perfect chance to test what this Canon can really do. Shooting in near-total darkness is no easy task, but the autofocus locked on seamlessly—not just for one lucky frame, but across multiple crisp shots in flight.
又是一个傍晚，再次出发去追踪之前错过的鸮类。就在光线几乎完全暗下来的情况下，它两次拂空飞过。这次拍摄彻底让人领略到了佳能强劲的低光性能与对焦实力——即使在近乎黑暗的环境中，不仅没有脱焦，反而成功捕捉到了多张焦点精准、清晰锐利的飞翔画面。

The Minahasa Hooded Pitta (Pitta forsteni) is an elusive species, and we had dipped on it multiple times in the past since it only tends to show during very specific windows in Tangkoko.
This time around, our timing was spot on. Though it gave us the slip on our first evening, the following morning rewarded us with an unforgettable encounter with this rare Sulawesi specialty. To top it all off, it even came hopping right over and stood barely a meter in front of us!
米纳哈萨绿胸八色鸫（Minahasa Hooded Pitta，学名：Pitta forsteni）是一鸟难求的特有种。过去曾数次与它擦肩而过，因为它们只在汤科科（Tangkoko）地区的特定时间段内才会活跃现身。
这次我们终于把握住了最佳时机。虽然在第一个傍晚遗憾错过，但隔天清晨，我们终于与这只珍稀的苏拉威西特有鸟类迎来了绝佳的相聚时光。它甚至直接走到距离我们仅约1米的前方停下，令人难以置信！

Another trip to lovely Sulawesi, and I got to meet this absolute beauty again—one of my favorite birds in all of Indonesia! This time, we were lucky enough to catch it down low, spending a good amount of time feeding on a fruiting tree. The lighting was a bit challenging for photos, but everyone was thrilled just to get such a fantastic view.
再次来到美丽的苏拉威西，又见到了这只极其美丽的鸟类——这也是我在印度尼西亚最喜欢的鸟类之一！这次我们非常幸运，它栖息的位置很低，还在果树上停留了相当长的时间。虽然拍摄时的光线有些挑战，但能如此清晰地观赏到它，大家都感到非常开心。

On our very first afternoon right after stepping off the plane, we successfully spotted the Scaly-breasted Kingfisher and spent a great time birding with several small birds. Shortly after, we came across this cute little Sulawesi endemic. What a fantastic start to Day 1!

Its behavior is remarkably similar to our Malayan Black-capped Babbler, spending most of its time walking along the ground. However, its plumage is distinctly more rufous overall. We were fortunate enough to encounter and photograph this bird on multiple occasions during our East Bali bird photography trip.
它的习性与马来亚黑冠雅鹛非常相似，大部分时间都在地面行走觅食。不过，它的整体羽色更偏红棕色。在我们的东巴厘岛观鸟摄影之旅中，我们曾有幸在多个不同场合记录到这种鸟类。

It is one of the most common and beautiful birds we encountered, first spotted right after driving out of our hotel. The moment I laid eyes on it, I shouted “Motmot!”— mesmerized by its stunning racket-tail. Throughout our 18-day trip across Costa Rica, we were lucky enough to spot this species many more times.
这是我们此行最常见也最美丽的鸟类之一，刚开出酒店就迎面遇上了它。当我第一次看到它时，脱口而出喊着“䴕翠！”，那别致的双桨状尾羽真的太惊艳了。在为期18天的哥斯达黎加之旅中，我们有幸多次与𫫇氏䴕翠相遇。
