Believe In What You Feel 『相信你的感觉』

Believe In What You Feel 『相信你的感觉』 Believe In What You Feel is the first solo exhibition of Taiwanese contemporary artist Wang Te-yu in Malaysia.

The aim of the exhibition is to break down the traditional barriers created between art and audience, instead asking each viewer to focus on their own physical experience rather than searching for a visual interpretation. “When you enter into my artworks, don’t look, don’t think, just walk through and enjoy it,” says the artist, encouraging us to leave our preconceptions at the door of the exhibit

, and to simply experience the art through our bodily interactions.

《No.105》
古い倉庫の中にビビットなイエローが映える作品。バルーンの中に全身入ったり、頭だけ出したり。身体全体で楽しめます。台湾のアーティストは空間における人間の存在の在り方と、人間による空間への介入とその変化をテーマに作品をつくりました。瀬戸内に浮かぶ島の形のようなバルーンは、中に入ると海の中へ潜っていくような感覚に。黄色い空間の中で知らない誰かと目が合うのも楽しいですね。
