These officers will represent your views to the University, so make sure you get to know them! RUMSA helps run the academic rep network at UoRM, ensuring that the academic experience is being led by students on the ground. RUMSA is also the hub for many extra-curricular activities.Through its clubs and societies, students are given the opportunity to nurture their interests in a range of different activities from dance and music, sports and leisure, to languages, and much, much more. Club members have taster sessions at various times during the year to give opportunities for new sign-ups, in particular for those who are yet to join a club. Please speak to the Helpdesk if you are a UoRM student who is interested in starting a club for yourself. RUMSA is democratic and student-led, and the Student Services team is ready to support in any way they can. RUMSA is located at the Level 1 (Ground Floor) of the South Block at UoRM.

Welcome Week: The End ❤️💫

We hope you had an amazing final day of Welcome Week, whether it was working your arm muscles in a game of Ddakji, listening to your seniors passionately introducing their clubs and societies, or simply soaking in the energy of our vibrant student community.

As Welcome Week comes to an end, we hope these past few days have helped you feel a little more at home here at Reading Malaysia. University is more than just classes and coursework. It is about the connections you build, the challenges you overcome, and the memories you create. So take that leap, step out of your comfort zone, and make the most of the opportunities ahead.

Enrolment and talks might not be the most exciting part, but we’re glad to see many of you starting to warm up to your new peers! Hopefully you got an ID picture you actually like, unlike many of your seniors who are still stuck with theirs 👎👎
