MOUNT KINABALU COVID-19 SOP GUIDELINES
[UPDATED 08/02/2022]
As been published by Sabah Parks management on 8th February 2022 (official FB page), please observe the following SOPs:
✅CLIMBERS WHO HAVE COMPLETED VACCINATION AND HAVE OBTAINED DIGITAL CERTIFICATE WITH 'LOW RISK' STATUS.
✅FREE FROM COVID-19. CLIMBERS ARE REQUIRED TO DO A COVID-19 SELF-TEST (RTK-ANTIGEN TEST/ORAL FLUID) 1 DAY BEFORE ARRIVAL/CLIMBING DATE AND PRESENT THE PROOF/NEGATIVE RESULT (TAKE PHOTO OF THE TEST RESULT & PRINT IT OUT) TO THE STAFF ON DUTY.
✅OPEN TO ALL CLIMBERS RESIDING IN MALAYSIA ONLY.
✅CLIMBERS UNDER 12 YEARS OLD ARE ALLOWED TO CLIMB PROVIDED THEY ARE ACCOMPANIED BY FULLY VACCINATED PARENTS OR GUARDIANS. HOWEVER, CLIMBERS AGED OVER 70 YEARS OLD ARE NOT ENCOURAGED.
