My favourite trekking location to get away from crowd . 🌿🥾

Kinabalu Park has pretty much everything I look for in a good trek. Cool climate, peaceful surroundings, and surprisingly few tourists.

The trails are safe, scenic and surrounded by beautiful rainforest. I can easily spend the whole day exploring, taking my time, enjoying nature.

Just remember to bring enough water and some snacks. 😎

It’s an easy drive from Kota Kinabalu, making it perfect for a day trip. But personally, I’d recommend staying overnight . The cool mountain air and peaceful surroundings are worth it. 🌿

我喜欢的徒步地点之一。

京那巴鲁国家公园，几乎拥有我对一次完美徒步所期待的一切——凉爽的气候、宁静的环境，还有意外地少游客。

这里的步道安全、风景优美，四周被茂密的热带雨林环绕。可以悠闲地走上一整天，慢慢探索、享受大自然，暂时远离人群。

记得带足够的水和一些小零食。

从亚庇开车前往也很方便，非常适合一日游。我个人更推荐住一晚，慢慢享受这里凉爽的山间空气和宁静的环境。

An outdoor kitchen, dining tables, cool mountain temperatures… and the perfect excuse for a seafood steamboat feast! 🦐🦑🍲

That’s the reason behind the grocery shopping. 😄

Nothing beats enjoying a hot meal outdoors while surrounded by the cool, refreshing air of Mesilau.

Good food. Cool weather. Great company. ❤️

这里有户外厨房、户外餐桌，还有凉爽的山间气温。

能够在这样的环境里自己准备食物、坐在户外一起吃饭，本身就是一种享受。

所以，这次特别去采购了一大堆食材……🛒🦐🦑
因为我们准备来一场海鲜火锅盛宴！ 🍲

在凉爽的Mesilau山里，吃着热腾腾的海鲜火锅，吹着自然的凉风，和家人朋友一起享受悠闲的夜晚。

🍜 亚庇其中一家我最喜欢、也经常光顾的美食店！

每当想吃点酸辣开胃、味道浓郁的美食，成興茶餐室 总是我的选择之一。尤其是他们家的 Tom Yam 面，酸辣够味，还有入口即化的 鸡脚，真的很赞！🌶️🤤

每次有海外朋友来亚庇，我也很喜欢带他们来这里吃，让他们体验我自己喜欢的本地美食。

如果你来到 KK，想尝尝我个人很推荐的亚庇味道，Seng Hing 绝对值得一试！

🍜 One of my favourite food spots in KK!

Whenever I’m craving something with bold, spicy flavours, Restoran Seng Hing is one of the places I frequent — especially for their legendary Tom Yam noodles and melt-in-your-mouth Chicken Feet. 🌶️🤤

It’s also one of the places I love bringing my overseas friends to when they visit Kota Kinabalu. A great way to let them experience some of the local flavours I enjoy.

If you’re visiting KK and want to try one of my personal favourites, Seng Hing is definitely worth a stop!

Sinalau Bakas is one of Sabah’s most iconic traditional foods, especially among the Kadazandusun community.

The name literally means “smoked wild boar” in the Kadazandusun language.

Traditionally, the meat is marinated with simple ingredients such as salt and local spices before being slowly smoked over a wood fire for hours.

What makes Sinalau Bakas special is that it reflects Sabah’s indigenous culinary heritage. It is often enjoyed with rice and local dipping sauces.

If you’re travelling on the way to Kinabalu National Park, you’ll come across a number of roadside stalls selling Sinalau Bakas, with the irresistible aroma of wood-smoked meat greeting visitors long before they arrive. For many locals and visitors alike, stopping for Sinalau Bakas has become part of the journey to Kinabalu.

I can never resist stopping for a serving whenever I pass by.🤤

Sinalau Bakas 是沙巴最具代表性的传统美食之一，尤其深受卡达山杜顺族社区珍视。

在卡达山杜顺语中的意思是 “烟熏野猪肉”。

传统上，野猪肉会以盐和当地香料简单腌制后，再用柴火慢慢熏烤数小时，让肉质吸收浓郁的烟熏香气，同时保留独特的风味与口感。

Sinalau Bakas 的特别之处，不仅在于其独特的烹调方式，更在于它承载着沙巴原住民世代相传的饮食文化与生活智慧。食用时通常搭配白饭及当地特色蘸酱，更能品尝出其浓郁而纯朴的风味。

尤其是在前往神山的路上，沿途经常可以看见售卖的小档口。

这道传统美食不仅是一种味觉享受，更是沙巴多元文化遗产的重要象征。
