🌿 Why Visit Atkinson Clock Tower & Signal Hill Trails, Kota Kinabalu? 🌿

🕰 Atkinson Clock Tower
Built in 1905, this is the oldest standing structure in Kota Kinabalu. It was built in memory of Francis George Atkinson, the first District Officer of Jesselton.
Today, the clock tower stands as a quiet reminder of Sabah’s early history — a great place for photos and a short stop to appreciate how Kota Kinabalu began.

🌄 Signal Hill Trails (Bukit Bendera)
Just a short walk away, Signal Hill offers an easy nature trail leading to one of the best panoramic views of Kota Kinabalu city. From the top, you can see:
✨ The city skyline
✨ Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park islands
✨ The South China Sea
✨ A beautiful sunset if you come in the evening

🌅 Kawa-Kawa River Cruise Experience

Get ready for a memorable journey through one of Sabah’s most beautiful natural attractions — the Kawa-Kawa River Cruise, also known as the “Little Kinabatangan of Kota Belud.”

Your adventure begins with a scenic drive through local villages and paddy fields, offering a glimpse of the peaceful countryside life of Sabah. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed with light refreshments before boarding the riverboat.

As we cruise along the tranquil mangrove forest, keep your eyes open for proboscis monkeys, long-tailed macaques, and a variety of tropical birds in their natural habitat. This is one of the best spots in Sabah to witness these amazing wildlife species up close.

As the day fades, you’ll be treated to a stunning sunset view over the river — a perfect time to capture unforgettable photos. After sunset, we’ll enjoy a local buffet dinner by the riverside.

The evening continues with a magical experience — a firefly watching cruise. Watch as thousands of fireflies light up the mangrove trees, creating a sparkling “Christmas tree” effect that beautifully ends the night.

After the cruise, we’ll return safely to Kota Kinabalu, bringing with us wonderful memories of nature, culture, and the peaceful charm of Kawa-Kawa.
