The celebration was graced and officiated by 𝐘𝐁𝐡𝐠. 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐨’ 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐮𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐛𝐮 𝐒𝐨𝐡𝐨𝐭, together with distinguished guests from government agencies, tourism industry associations, media representatives, and industry stakeholders. The event featured vibrant cultural performances showcasing the unique heritage of Sabah and Sarawak, while special souvenirs were distributed to arriving international visitors, creating a warm and memorable Malaysian welcome experience.🎭🎁✨

As two of Malaysia’s most significant harvest festivals, Tadau Kaamatan and Hari Gawai symbolize gratitude, prosperity, unity, and cultural harmony. The celebration provided an excellent platform to promote Malaysia’s rich multicultural identity and strengthen appreciation for the diverse traditions that make our nation truly unique. 🌾🤝🇲🇾

Their presence underscored the strong commitment of both nations and tourism stakeholders towards enhancing bilateral cooperation, cultural exchange, and tourism development.

The festival featured a vibrant lineup of activities and performances, including ✨ Traditional Malaysian Cultural Performances, 🦁 Lion Dance Performances, 🥁 Silat Martial Arts Demonstrations, 🎶 Live Band Entertainment, and the crowd-favorite 🍨 DIY Lychee & Durian Dessert Experience. Blending the iconic flavors of China and Malaysia, the event beautifully symbolized the harmony of cultures, traditions, and friendships that have flourished over the past 52 years of diplomatic relations.

𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐄𝐞 attended the Launching Ceremony of the Malaysia Pavilion at ITB China 2026 held in 📍𝑺𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒉𝒂𝒊 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅 𝑬𝒙𝒑𝒐 𝑬𝒙𝒉𝒊𝒃𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 & 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑪𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒆.

🇲🇾 The Malaysia Pavilion was officially launched by 𝐘𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐨' 𝐒𝐫𝐢 𝐓𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠, Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia, together with distinguished guests:

📄 A key highlight of the ceremony was witnessing the exchange of the 𝑴𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒖𝒎 𝒐𝒇 𝑼𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 (𝑴𝑶𝑼) 𝒃𝒆𝒕𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝑯𝒘𝒂𝒋𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒍 & 𝑻𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔 𝑺𝒅𝒏. 𝑩𝒉𝒅. 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑨𝒅𝒐𝒓𝒂 𝑪𝒓𝒖𝒊𝒔𝒆𝒔, marking another meaningful milestone in strengthening Malaysia–China tourism collaboration and creating greater opportunities in cruise tourism, market connectivity and inbound tourism growth. 🤝

✨The ceremony was followed by an official booth tour led by 𝐘𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐨' 𝐒𝐫𝐢 𝐓𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠, Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia, reflecting the Ministry’s strong support and commitment towards promoting Malaysia as a preferred travel destination while enhancing tourism partnerships between Malaysia and China.
