📍Located in the UNESCO heritage site; The Sukhothai Historic park, is the enchanting temple of Wat Si Chum. Its construction can be dated back to 700 years ago under the ruling of King Ramkhamhaeng. Tucked inside the temple is a large 11 metres wide and almost 15 metres high, Buddha statue named as Phra P**t Dai referred to as the Speaking Buddha. 🇹🇭🪷

Legends has that the Buddha statue has lifted King Naresuan (1555-1605) army’s spirit to battle the Burmese by the king asked one of his men to give speech behind the statue giving the illusion that the Buddha is speaking directly towards the troop and thus uplift their courage to fight. 🌟🗡️
