Today was my rest day, so I went jogging at the small park just a few steps away from my house 🌿🏃♂️
I’ve been living here for almost 3 years, but I rarely come to this park. Usually, I jog around the taman area instead 😆
After jogging, of course I did something I enjoy — photography 📸
An uncle thought I was playing Pokémon Go because I kept walking around the park looking for things 🤣
I told him that I was actually taking photos, as photography is one of my hobbies.
I noticed a purple flowering tree with only a few flowers left. The uncle told me that the blooming season had already passed, and when it was fully blooming before, the whole tree was covered with beautiful purple flowers 🌸
He said I had missed the most beautiful moment, even though I live just across from the park. Aiyo… what a waste 😆
The uncle encouraged me to visit the park more often because the committee members had planted many beautiful trees and flowers there, and he himself is one of the committee members.
**Moral of the day :-**
Sometimes, beautiful things are actually right around us — we just don’t slow down enough to notice them 🌿
Even though I’ve been living here for almost 3 years, only today did I realize that the park has such beautiful flowering trees. And through chatting with the uncle, I also learned that many people quietly put in effort to make the environment more beautiful.
Sometimes, by walking a little more and looking around a little more, life can surprise us with many little joys 😊
