Our Story

We are town dwellers. Work in towns. Bringing up children in towns. We have always envied the serenity of kampong life. So in our retirement age, we moved to kampong, to live in it.

Itu Lodge is not by the brook, not in front of the beach either. The beach is not far though, only 5 minutes by car, 15 minutes if you cycle. Itu Lodge is right in the heart of kampong. You see around you kampong houses, kampong roads, kampong cows, kampong goats and of course kampong folks.

We want to pass it on to our grandchildren so that they are fortunate enough to say “Jom Balik Kampong!”

For those who do not have a kampong to go back to, Itu Lodge is created for you.
