Latest update on day 8, a Rafflesia flower is typically at the end of its life cycle. The world's largest flower only blooms for about 5 to 7 days. By day 8, it usually turns completely black, collapses, and begins to disintegrate into the rainforest floor.

Next blooming expected on September 2026, any update will be update on our page.

World's largest flower: Rafflesia or Tuan Muda now is blooming in Kampung Timurang Padawan Sarawak.. Only 45-55 minute drive from Kuching City.

Day 2 Bloom.. the flower will last only 5 -7 days
Come and visit us while the flower still bloom.

The life cycle of this flower is like a pregnant lady, the flower bud takes about 9 months before if transform into the world’s largest flower and the flower lasts for 5-7 days only before it starts to decay. The flower produces rotting meat-like smell to attract the flies as pollinators.
