This serene freshwater lake sits on Dayang Bunting Island, surrounded by lush hills that actually look like a pregnant woman lying down. The legend? A celestial princess laid her child to rest here and blessed the waters — so it’s believed to boost fertility for women who take a dip! 💫

We took a short boat ride as part of an island-hopping tour and it was so worth it. You can swim, paddle boat, or just soak in the peaceful vibes. Plus, the wildlife and natural beauty? Next level. 🏞

Langkawi, a beautiful archipelago in Malaysia, is home to a diverse range of animals due to its rich ecosystems, including forests, beaches, and wetlands. Any animal lovers would have come to the island to try spot for exotic animals:

Primates of Langkawi:
-Long-tailed Macaque: Common, often seen in flocks, known for raiding tourists’ belongings. Found in places like Sandy Skull Beach.
-Dusky Leaf Langur: Shy, dark gray with white-ringed eyes; can be spotted in Legend Park, Kuah, and Gunung Raya.
-Flying Lemur (Colugo): Glides, nocturnal, difficult to spot, feeds on fruits and flowers.
-Slow Loris: Nocturnal, slow, large-eyed primate; hard to spot due to stealthy movements.
Hornbills of Langkawi:
-Great Hornbill: Large, with vivid plumage; spotted in Gunung Raya and Pulau Tuba.
