We are delighted to announce that the Langkawi - Koh Lipe ferry service will be resuming this season for the period of October 2022 - May 2023.

Service Update:

We have not received any confirmation on the opening of the cross border sea route from Langkawi, Malaysia to Koh Lipe, Thailand as of yet.

As such, there will be no ferry service until further notice.

Should there be any changes, we will update it here and on our website. We hope to welcome you again soon!

COVID-19: Temporary Suspension of Services

The Government of Malaysia has made the decision to extend the nationwide Movement Control Order (Partial Lockdown) to contain COVID-19 from 1st April 2020 to 14th April 2020.

In light of this, Telaga Terminal will suspend all Langkawi – Koh Lipe ferry operations until further notice.

Travel Advisory: COVID-19 Update

The Government of Malaysia has made the decision to implement a nationwide Movement Control Order (Partial Lockdown) to contain COVID-19 from 18th March 2020 to 31st March 2020.

A temporary suspension of foreign tourists and visitors has been enforced to prevent further spread of the coronavirus. All foreign nationals from any country will be barred from entering Malaysia with effect from 18th March 2020 to 31st March 2020.

All Malaysian citizens are suspended from leaving the country and those arriving back into the country will have to undergo a health check and observe a 14 day self quarantine.

Safety is our utmost priority at Telaga Terminal, and we support the Malaysian government’s efforts to keep everyone safe from COVID-19. In light of this, Telaga Terminal will cease all Langkawi – Koh Lipe ferry operations from 18th March 2020 to 31st March 2020.
