If I had to sum up this trip in one sentence:
Professional first, romance second and stamina throughout.
This was a full scale ground handling mission spanning over ten days > from transportation, hotels, photography & videography to on-site assistants. A true end-to-end ex*****on.
Grateful for the continuous trust in SM Leisure Travel & Tours !!
We make complexity simple, and turn every journey into a story worth telling.
Day 1
Departed from Langkawi 9:00AM and headed straight to Kuala Lumpur > quite literally “riding through the storm” with heavy rain along the way. Arrived at AC Hotel at 11PM, checked in, and immediately crossed over to Hokkaido Restaurant for dinner.
Efficiency is the best respect we can give to exhaustion.
Day 2
Site inspection mode activated early > routes and exhibition grounds all locked in. Afternoon recharge at Lacher Patisserie, warm ambience with refined desserts.
Evening was reserved for our 4th anniversary at Marini on 57 where a place that requires three elevators and one security check to reach.
Effort? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely 😂
Day 3
Mid Valley Megamall visit, with lunch at HAI KAH LANG. The fish head vermicelli is highly recommended. Tomyam… let’s just say, respectfully average.
Evening airport pickup extended into a 2AM finish.
Now that’s what we call nightlife.
Day 4
Morning site visits continued. Afternoon at M Cuisine for Cantonese dining — hosted by our leader 🙏
Two people, RM1700+ 😂
officially upgraded to a “premium experience.”
Next stop: SS2 Durian House for Musang King — rich, bold, unapologetically intense.
Wrapped up the day welcoming another group of leaders in the rain.
Day 5
Breakfast + final exhibition preparation + badge collection.
Another airport pickup in the afternoon.
Dinner via Foodpanda, eating in the room while watching TV . Simple, but underrated happiness.
Day 6
Embassy pickup, site inspection, and welcoming three VIP guests from the airport.
A packed schedule but fully under control.
Day 7
DSA & NATSEC officially kicked off. Full day stationed at the exhibition.
Beyond coordination duties, a key “behind-the-scenes” task was to closely monitor and ensure the quality of our photography and videography team from composition and positioning to ex*****on details.
Every important moment deserves to be captured professionally.
Evening wrapped up with a KLCC visit , work and content creation, both accomplished.
Day 8
Half-day at the exhibition, followed by a cultural exploration: Islamic Arts Museum, National Mosque, Merdeka Square, and Central Market , a full journey from modern to heritage.
Day 9
Hotel breakfast has officially entered the “familiar yet questionable” phase (you know what I mean).
Back to the exhibition, and later a relaxed shopping session with two managers , finally slowing things down a little.
Day 10
VIPs checked out and headed to the National Palace and Pink Mosque before sending off our guests.
Only one thought at that moment: yeah… we’re off duty.
Celebration dinner? Of course , the Fei Fei Crab, well deserved.
Day 11–13
Now, it’s our turn.
Back to SS2 for durian, first LUGE experience (surprisingly fun), late night arrival at Sungai Petani for supper.
Followed by a Penang day trip, then back to Alor Setar and finally, home.
Overall, this was an intense yet rewarding journey , fast-paced, demanding, but filled with memorable moments.
When it’s time to deliver, we give it our all. When it’s time to enjoy, we don’t hold back either.
Thank you for every bit of trust , it pushes us to deliver with even greater precision and professionalism.
On to the next journey, hopefully just as smooth and just as memorable.
