What gets us out of bed everyday? Knowing we get to spend time at our playground SO RICH in geological history, kayaking into channels where many species of mangroves reside and incredibly high biodiversity that we don’t know what might come across today! So YES, everyday is a freaking adventure 🦀🐠🚣‍♂️

We are saddened that Paksu will no longer be coming over to his farm fish to feed his 32 cats — his pet stingray Hussain must be wondering where he’s gone.

We miss you as much as the heart can feel, Paksu.

In the last 10 years of working with Paksu, he has captured the hearts of many with his genuineness and his eagerness to communicate the wildlife of the mangroves and ocean to people from all around the world. Rain or shine, we stood by him – and we will continue supporting his wife for as long as we are able.

If anyone would like to donate to Paksu’s family, we can help collect and pass it on. Please send us a direct message for the bank details.

Definition of a Licensed tourist guide!
A guide is a person who leads travelers, sportspeople, or tourists through unknown or unfamiliar locations.
The term can also be applied to a person who leads others to more abstract goals such as knowledge or wisdom.
My humble request to all the tourists guides is,not to condemn other nations or even our own states.
For example no need to give an impressions saying , oh Langkawi is a boring place or nothing to do there !
If you don’t like , keep to yourself .
Langkawi based tourists guides will never do that , instead we say kindly enjoy every place in Malaysia especially Penang where tourists can enjoy the diversity of culture ,hospitality and food .
I am not referring to everyone but there are certain guides does that .
Many tourists whom met saying and agreed that both Langkawi and Penang are special on its own uniqueness !
Lets promote Malaysia as the whole to everyone , domestic and international !
Every place in the world are different even our backyard !
I am sorry if I say something wrong !

Life is like the mangrove swamps.
Everyday they go through immense stress of handling influx of salt water and pressure but yet they strive and protect shoreline and provide shelters to other marine lives. We all are special and gifted in our own ways . Let’s cherish it 🙏🏾☘️

Our planet Earth are under threat by all type of individuals through unsustainable practices!
Our forests are misunderstood!
First it was the monoculture introduced to harvest profits from industrial plants!
Then the human population boom,driven away wildlife’s.
The growth of plants and trees in perma- culture were disrupted and the symbiosis been cut off severely!
All this done by Educated Authorities !
Losing of natural habitats must be stopped!
Don’t light up our forests at nights.
We are killing life’s and severing the connections.
There are so many ways to make money!
I wish you all the best!
Move your location to concrete jungle’s!
Your dream may come true!
I blame the authorities!

We had an absolute blast with an amazing sailor family and learned tons from them during our exploration into the mangrove forest! Ravi, Hali & Orla are truly nature children and spending time with them brought out the inner child in us:)

Have a wonderful journey sailors. Till we meet again to explore more of the island and to enjoy Ruth’s signature somtam ⛵️💚

Oh jellyfish everywhere. Then how possible you are swimming in the mangroves, Selva Raja Manickam
Mangroves is a divine force and its balance the Ocean ecosystem.
Treat mangroves with respect.
Its not a dumping sites of our dirts!
A short briefing about Jellyfish.
Medusa!
My name is jellyfish,the ancient "Greeks" call me as" Medusa".My address is "7 Ocean",all the "sea" and" lakes".I don't understand why some people define me as sh..t in "Paradise". i like to eat sh..t dumped by "six sense humans because the sh..t looks like free swimming larvae(phytoplankton). Humans failed in using their common sense!
I never disturbed anyone,i am part of the "Ocean System".During the peak period i bloom like "nobody business" because that is "my business.."
I am food for many species including human! Some of my family member is consider delicacy.I love to eat" fish" but now i am in trouble due to shortage of fish because Human catch all my food."(OVER FISHING)"
I am scared of turtle but i am happy that most of the "Turtle" died of chocking because they are been tricked by "plastic" thrown by the same human.
I do feel very sad sometimes, my cousin known as "box jellyfish(sea wasp)" accidentally sting human because they bumped on to him while he is looking for his prey!.My cousin is really nasty fellow,he can kill many life's, his venom's is one of the most "poisonous" chemical in" Nature".
But you know, we "animals" most of the time like to avoid the very "intelligent Human" because my cousin can see too.
I also heard than many people are also perished in wars, political war, heart attack,road accident,famine,birds flu,etc...I am sorry if i disturbed the readers mind!10000 apology.
Anyway, if you don't want my existence then ask all the "respective Governments" to control the "sewage system",control the killing of turtles and avoid eating turtle eggs,stop over fishing ,don't meddle with "Ocean current" and don't "play God" with me,Use the word "sustainability" in correct manner!
Finally, i would like to advice,please carry "vinegar" all the time or wear "stinger suits".May be the resorts can invest some money to create a "buffer zone" by putting nets.
I am happy because there are many people still swims.
Anyway not all my my family member carry "M16".
Please don't call me sh..t in "Paradise" but make sure utilize your sh..t in some other way! Don't dumped into the sea!
Enjoy your holiday don't spoil your holiday because of me. I am part of THE EXISTENCE! I am sorry to disturb many friends here!
