Amazing couple of days, we escaped the rain until last night driving home... torrential rain flooded the road, we waited 4 hours, then gave up and turned around when we were 1 hour from home and drove 3 1/2 hours the long way. Good thing, because the flooding did not reside for another 4 hours, then further up the rode there was a landslide that is still blocking the road!!
We should have been home at 5, got home at 11:30pm...
Internet was down so I am currently using Tut Adi's Hotspot
We did however escape the rain while we were touring and in 2 days we saw
Tut Adis Village, including me dancing with Schoolkids at Tut Adi's Wife's Osin's School
Had an amazing dinner at Tut Adis House with his friends and family, where I sung Karaoke to many confused faces
Had another amazing dinner at Putu Sandi's house cooked by his wife Ayuk
Rice Fields including Balis largest and a tour of local one, we met so many locals , one climbed a tree to get us coconuts for a fresh water break, a cold spring and so much more
Saw an amazing waterfall
Twin Lakes
Oh, and Temples, lots of temples
Oh and Bintang, lots of Bintang
And we ate rice, a lot of rice, so we have a lot of power as rice is power!!
Lets forget the Banana and Honey Pizza11
My overall impression so far...
Bali is amazing, the people are so friendly, we got to see how Bali people truly live and it has been one of the best couple of days we have ever had...
It will be almost impossible to beat this the rest of the trip...
Today we head to an Airbnb before the cruise starts on the 15th. It is in a tourist area so it will be very different to this....
