To those who have been following us, here’s the latest update on PJD Link Highway Project

Following receipt of the EIA, TIA, and SIA documents, the plaintiffs have reviewed them and raised further queries.

These queries were conveyed after the June 18 case management.

The matter is now pending the next case management on July 28, when the State Government is expected to provide its replies.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Selangor government has complied with a High Court order by handing over key documents related to the proposed Petaling Jaya Dispersal (PJD) Link project to four residents after more than a year.
Lawyer Lim Wei Jiet, representing T Chakaravarthi, K*m Koo Ji, S Saktiseelan, and Loke Yin Pong, said they received the social impact assessment (SIA), environmental impact assessment, and traffic impact assessment reports submitted by the project developer, PJD Link (M) Sdn Bhd, today.

He said the state government also provided the detailed design and alignment plans for the proposed highway.

​Lim said his clients would review the documents before deciding on their next course of action.

“The court has fixed June 18 for case management for us to provide an update on compliance,” he said.

State legal adviser Siti Radziah Kamarudin appeared for the Selangor government.

Last year, the High Court partially allowed the residents’ judicial review application and ordered that they be granted access to the relevant documents.

Petaling Jaya MP Lee Chean Chung revealed in 2024 that federal agencies had approved a new realignment plan for the PJD Link highway proposed by its developer.

This came despite the state government announcing on July 31, 2023 that it had decided to cancel the project after it found the developer’s SIA unsatisfactory and non-compliant with state conditions
