On 14 August, we had the privilege of attending the 60th Singapore National Day Reception at Shangri-La, Kuala Lumpur.

It was a grand celebration of Singapore’s 60th National Day, which included some highlights of the history and relationship between Singapore and Malaysia. The evening brought together ambassadors, Malaysian ministers, and distinguished guests, creating a great opportunity for networking and meaningful conversations.

Guests were also treated to a delicious spread of Singaporean favourites, like the yummy Singapore Laksa. At Bumble Bee Travel, we truly value events like these that inspire connection and collaboration across borders.

We also had the chance to meet YB Hannah Yeoh, Minister of Youth and Sports for a quick selfie. Heartfelt thanks to Adelyn Chan from Singapore Tourism Board for having us on this wonderful night! 🐝

Buzzing with excitement after attending the 2025 IHG Malaysia Showcase on 10 July at InterContinental KL!

It was nice meeting up with our amazing IHG partners — including Harsha Khanna (Director of Global Sales), Abigail Chang (Account Director) and catching up with friends from the industry.

We caught the tea session and were treated to a delicious spread of Malay flavours, fusion bites, and Western-inspired treats.
