蒙古草原最后一晚，无人提早睡觉。因为大家都知道，明天之后就要回到现实世界。

草原送上整趟旅程最美夕阳。橘红晚霞铺满天际，旅途忙着拍照的人，开始放下相机；旅途最多话的人，变得安静。

火堆慢慢燃烧，每个人分享旅程故事。有人分享感受、有人分享搞笑，有人分享差点被骆驼摇散的腰。

原本陌生的人，一起经历一些事情后，变成彼此故事里的人。

On our final night in Mongolia, nobody went to bed early. We all knew that day after tomorrow we would leave the grasslands behind and return to the routines of everyday life.

As if saying goodbye in its own way, the Mongolian sky gifted us the most beautiful sunset of the entire journey.

此趟戈壁之旅除了第一晚成功集邮蒙古伍佰，我们居然还遇见蒙古版余文乐。这户人家，羊比人多，一家四口非常热情，招待我们蒙古奶茶和蒙古拉面。这里虽然没有豪华设施，但有最真实生活感。蒙古郊外虽然可能暂时还没有五星级酒店；但却有五星级人情味。

Asides from meeting Mongolian rocker at the start of the journey, we met another host who resembles Hong Kong actor Shawn Yue.

This Mongolian family owned more sheep than humans. The friendly family of four welcomed us warmly with milk tea and handmade noodles. There's no 5-star facility in the countryside, but 5-star hospitality is in abundance.

大家骑上蒙古马那一刻，自动脑补自己是成吉思汗远征军。上马之后拍照很帅，开始跑之后神色紧张，有人紧抓马鞍像抓人生最后希望。当草原风吹过超美的Orkhon河，马蹄声听起来很疗愈。

蒙古马不高大，但耐力惊人。 "人生不一定要跑最快；像蒙古马那样走得够远，也很厉害。"

The moment we mounted Mongolian horses, we pictured ourselves as part of Genghis Khan’s army, with historical war movie soundtracks ringing in our minds.

The photos before riding looked amazing. Strong posture. Confident smile. Main character aura.

When the horses started moving. Suddenly everyone’s facial expressions changed from “Mongolian warrior” to “please let me survive.”

Mongolian horses aren't tall or imposing, but their endurance is mind-blowing. It made us realize: "You don't always have to be the fastest in life; if you can go as far as a Mongolian horse, that is an achievement in itself."

We collected dry Gobi branches and dead wood, preparing for the ultimate outdoor camping experience: campfire, starry night in the wilderness.

Unfortunately, the weather was unfavourable. Rain arrived. The stars disappeared.
And our peaceful camping dream transformed into a survival reality show.

在戈壁沙漠,骑一趟骆驼。我们都幻想成丝路探险，结果没想到屁股先投降。

你以为看照片，看到我们一字排开超有电影感。但其实骑骆驼之前像商队，骑骆驼之后像「伤队」。当骆驼站起来那一刻开始，骑骆驼时前后摇晃像人体洗衣机。最终骆驼并不累，累的是骑骆驼的我们。

Another Gobi Desert highlight: Camel riding.

Before the ride, we imagined ourselves as legendary Silk Road explorers. After the ride, we were like wounded caravan.

The photos looked cinematic: camels lined-up crossing the desert.

Reality? It was a rocky-ride. The camels weren't tired, yet the riders were exhausted.

为了感谢蒙古人家和贡献在地经济，我们合资买了一头羊。司机恩科还摇身一变成为“蒙古厨神”。他用石头、伏特加、高压闷煮羊肉，为我们炮制当地经典名菜Khorkhog。

我们看着他们无痛宰杀羊只，再用热石头丢进铁桶瞬间超有仪式感，看起来就像料理节目直播现场。如果说城市料理吃的是精致感，那么草原料理吃的就是生存感。

To support the local Mongolian family and contribute to the local economy, our group collectively invested in..... one sheep.

Suddenly our driver Enkhe transformed into Mongolia’s version of MasterChef.
Using hot stones, vodka, and pressure cooker, he prepared the legendary Mongolian dish:
Khorkhog.

In cities, food is about presentation.
On the grasslands, food is about survival.

来到行程的其中一个亮点，那就是攀爬会唱歌的洪哥林沙丘。每个人一开始都像特种部队的远征队伍，上沙丘前装备齐全、帅气十足，结果刚上沙丘5分钟，就喘得像刚做完CPR。

沙丘看起来很近，却那么远。每走一步退半步，每个人深刻理解了人生什么叫“努力不一定有结果”。有人一边爬一边问：“有没有电梯？”，有人干脆躺平，看着天空思考前世今生。

最后，我们都领悟到：“人生最累的，是明明很努力，却一直从原地滑下来。”

Climbing the legendary singing dunes of Khongoryn Els, one of the biggest highlights of our Mongolia trip.

At first, everyone looked like an elite expedition team. Cool sunglasses. Professional hiking gear. Five minutes later? We were breathing heavily like we had just performed CPR.

The dune-top looked so close.....but every step forward came with half a step sliding backward. At some point, someone asked: “Is there a lift?”

We finally learned life's most exhausting lesson: trying your hardest, only to slide right back to where you started.
