Just Wrapped Up an Exciting Two Days as an Emcee! 🎤🌱

What an incredible experience being the emcee for "The Potential, Challenges, and Knowledge Needs for Reforestation with Native Tropical Trees" workshop! 🌳✨ Two full days of engaging discussions, eye-opening presentations, and inspiring conversations—definitely a learning experience for me too!Hosted at the stunning Shangri-La Tanjung Aru Resort, Kota Kinabalu from 13th to 14th February 2025, this workshop brought together experts from IKEA, Yayasan Sabah, and SLU to tackle the future of tropical rainforest restoration.

🌿🌏 Scientists, policymakers, and practitioners all in one room—sharing insights, strategies, and the way forward for a greener planet!Being on stage and soaking in the knowledge (while making sure everything ran smoothly 😉) was such a privilege.

Thank you to everyone who made this event such a success! Let’s keep the momentum going and work towards a thriving, restored rainforest ecosystem. 🌍💚

Journey with Dee Dee : A Memorable 4th Collaboration with Annual Uniform Bodies Camp at SK Penampang

SK Penampang recently celebrated its 4th Collaboration with Journey with Dee Dee for their Annual Uniform Bodies Camp, to provide an enriching experience for 170 students, including those from Kindergarten and PPKI. This year’s camp focused on conservation and personal development, featuring compelling sessions like "Chasing Dreams" by Deirdre Julius Kulip and "I Was A Hunter" by Angelo Aeron Errol Peter, which inspired students to think critically about their dreams and environmental stewardship.

Over the two days and one night, participants engaged in a variety of outdoor activities designed to foster teamwork and physical fitness. The 2nd day of the camp kicked off with a lively aerobics session led by Azi Kanor and her enthusiastic team, energizing everyone for the day ahead. Following that, students tackled the Obstacle Station Games, creatively orchestrated by Angelo Aeron Errol Peter and his team, which challenged them both physically and mentally.

The blend of educational sessions and fun activities made this camp not only a platform for learning but also an opportunity for students to bond and develop new skills. The positive feedback from participants highlighted the camp's success in promoting a sense of community and environmental awareness, leaving lasting memories for everyone involved. This year’s camp was truly an amazing experience, showcasing the power of collaboration and the importance of nurturing young minds.
