We spent two days birding at the Rainforest Discovery Centre in Sepilok, Sandakan, and we managed to see 83 species of birds! We also saw some great mammals, such as the Red Giant Flying Squirrel and the Bornean Colugo!

Despite its bright colors, it is notoriously difficult to find. They move silently through the high rainforest canopy in small, nomadic family groups, often giving bizarre, nasal, chattering calls before vanishing.
