[Audit Exemption Update – Effective 2025]

On 16 December 2024, the Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) issued Practice Directive No. 10/2024 introducing new qualifying thresholds for audit exemption, applicable for financial periods beginning 1 January 2025.

Phase 1 (2025) Thresholds:
▪️ Turnover ≤ RM1 million
▪️ Total assets ≤ RM1 million
▪️ Employees ≤ 10

03/01/2025 — Internal Training Session: Latest Updates from IRB (LHDN) on Accessing Tax Identification Numbers (TIN)

Effective 1 January 2025, accessing your Tax Identification Number (TIN) has been simplified. There is no longer a need to log in to MyTax to retrieve your TIN.

The new process is designed to be seamless and efficient.

Here’s how you can access your TIN:
1. Download the MyDigital ID App.
2. Click the TIN search : https://mytax.hasil.gov.my
3. Scan the QR Code using the MyDigital ID App to instantly retrieve your TIN.
