4. LUKUT FORT AND MUSEUM
Lukut Fort is located atop Bukit Mati (also known as Bukit Gajah Mati), about 7 km from the town of Port Dickson. It was built in 1847 by Raja Jumaat bin Raja Jaafar, a Bugis ruler from Riau who was appointed by the Sultan of Selangor to control the booming tin trade in Lukut. The fort served as both a defensive stronghold and an administrative center, complete with a 15-foot-deep moat, a palace, and two wells, including the infamous “Poisoned Well.”

After Raja Jumaat's death in 1864, his son Raja Bot failed to sustain the fort’s prosperity, leading to Lukut’s decline and eventual abandonment.
Lukut Museum: Preserving Historical Heritage
Lukut Museum is located at the foot of Bukit Mati, near the site of the fort. This two-storey museum was opened on 9 April 1999 and was built to preserve and exhibit the history of Lukut from the 19th century up to the 1880s, before it was incorporated into the Sungai Ujong district. The museum also highlights the history of Negeri Sembilan and the culture of the local community.

2. CAPE RACHADO (TANJUNG TUAN)
Cape Rachado, also known as Tanjung Tuan, is a stunning natural destination located approximately 20 km from Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan, and about 80 km from Melaka. It is a permanent forest reserve spanning 80.97 hectares, rich in history, biodiversity, and breathtaking ocean views.

Tanjung Tuan Recreational Forest
Cape Rachado is surrounded by the Tanjung Tuan Recreational Forest, which was gazetted as a Permanent Forest Reserve in 1921 and later declared a Wildlife Sanctuary in 1971. The forest is home to over 177 species of flora and various fauna, including silvered leaf monkeys and birds of prey. It is also a key location for birdwatching, especially during the migratory season.

Activities and Hiking Trails
There are several hiking trails for visitors to explore:

1. Forest Trail – A 1 km trail that begins at the ranger station and passes through untouched tropical rainforest. This trail is suitable for beginners and offers a view of interesting plant life.

1. ARMY MUSEUM
The Army Museum Port Dickson is the largest military museum in Malaysia and a must-visit destination for those interested in learning about the nation's military history. Located at Batu 4, Kem Si Rusa, Port Dickson, the museum officially began operations on 28 June 2005 and received over 200,000 visitors in 2024.

Exhibits and Galleries
The museum houses a wide range of artifacts and historical replicas from the Portuguese colonial era to the time Malaysia gained independence. Some of the main galleries include:
