Another happy client, Evan, landing this great GT on top water stick bait!
Evan was dreaming of catching a GT on top water, and after landing some couta and yellowfin on topwater, he managed to land this stunning 103cm GT, tagged and released.

What an incredible Guinjata Bay Bonanza this year!

We were privileged to host Status Truck Sales and enjoyed a fantastic week out on the water—filled with fun, fierce competition, and great camaraderie. Plenty of excitement and tight lines, and we’re proud to have walked away with:

- A third place podium finish
- ⁠Most species caught throughout the competition
- ⁠Biggest released fish, a 27 point Amberjack
- ⁠Biggest Cobia/Prodigal Son caught, weighing 14.7kg

A heartfelt thank you to our clients and friends Sebastian, Siegfried, and Rob for an unforgettable time on the water and your remarkable generosity—it made the experience even more special.

Also a big thank you to the Guinjata Sports Fishing Club for your tireless efforts and dedication, as well as all of the sponsors of the event, for delivering our most enjoyable competition to date.

Jigging up smaller fish like this Blacktip Trevally is loads of fun. A smaller cousin of the Giant Trevally, it still packs a punch and puts up a solid fight-making it an ideal catch for new anglers learning how to handle a rod and battle a fish. Ready to hook yours?
