We are grateful to the community that has allowed us to be here and we aim to give back to that community in any way we can. We will be developing programs involving the local school and are open to any ideas from visitors who want to share in the creative process. Our aim is to be sustainable and have only the footprints on Mother Nature be the ones we leave on the beach. On the fun side, we will

organise outings - snorkeling, SCUBA diving, dhow trips, deep sea fishing, learning to surf and all the things the Mozambique coastline has to offer.

So with the Landrover at the mechanic and no 4x4....I had to use the local 8x2 to get my stuff to and from the house. Gotta love it. Old school style....can't get more eco-friendly than that!

The beautiful and rustic town of Tofo is about an hour and a half's drive from Chiduka Lodge and is a surfers paradise. It is well worth a visit if you are travelling through Mozambique.
