My eyes told me they were orcas but my brain screamed Not Possible! I was shaking from the excitement so the pics are very blurry. I saw 4 from Casa Sol E Mar’s deck in Tofo, Mozambique. A once in a life time for me. Whale watching while sitting comfortable on the deck. There are not many places in the world where you can experience this.

Tofo has some of the best diving in the world. Casa Sol e Mar is a brilliant place to stay.

Translation:

Maputo April 28, 2023 - We inform you that on May 1, 2023, Decree n. , when the trip is for tourism or business, with the need for registration being temporarily suspended 48 hours before departure.
Citizens of the countries listed in the decree (Canada, Swiss Confederation, United Arab Emirates, State of Israel, United States of America, Russian Federation, Japan, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kingdom of Belgium, Kingdom of Denmark, Kingdom of Spain, Kingdom of of Norway, Kingdom of Sweden, Kingdom of the Netherlands, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Republic of Korea, Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, Republic of Finland, Republic of Indonesia, Republic of Ireland, Republic of Singapore, Republic of Ghana, Republic of Senegal, Federal Republic of Germany, French Republic, Italian Republic, People's Republic of China, Portuguese Republic and Ukraine) are authorized to travel to the Republic of Mozambique without prior registration, payment of the fee equivalent to 650 meticais and submit the following documents:
a) Passport or equivalent document valid for at least 6 months;
b) Return and return flight ticket, for those traveling by air;
c) Proof of accommodation location.
