Duane and Corey all smiles — and why wouldn't they be!

After a successful Elephant hunt in Botswana to open the season, Corey moved camp to Mozambique for the next leg of this exciting multi-country hunt. We flew through South Africa before touching down in Mozambique, where PH Duane was already waiting at the airstrip — right on the border of Gonarezhou National Park.
Their mission: the biggest Buffalo in Mozambique. 🇲🇿

This remote southern wilderness is prime Dagga Boy country, with large herds roaming the thick bush alongside majestic Kudu and free-range Nyala. Two incredible trophies later, the smiles say it all.

We can't wait to see what the 2026 season has in store — here's to more Buffalo stretching the tape to magical numbers!

When you're out there — fuelled by instinct, fully present — your senses sharpen in ways you don't expect. You stop just looking and start seeing. Not only the animal you're after, but every small creature sharing that same patch of earth. The beetle on the bark. The bird that went quiet. The track you nearly walked past.

Hunting doesn't narrow your world. It opens it.

Above-average rainfall across eastern Botswana pushed the herds deep into thick cover, making the search for quality bulls a real challenge. But patience pays — once the skies cleared and the animals began to move freely, we were seeing 15 to 20 mature bulls a day.

We passed on many. This single-tusker, however, was the one.

One shot. One frontal. The .375 H&H did what it always does in Africa.

Years of dedication, hard hunting across multiple countries, and countless hours in planes, boats, and cars have all led to this moment. Congratulations to them on this hard-earned milestone. Our returning clients from Poland are off to a spectacular start on their Safari, harvesting this magnificent elephant. A huge congratulations to them and to the entire team involved in making it happen!

This is just the beginning as we're now heading to Namibia for the next leg of their journey as they work toward completing the Dangerous 7. Stay tuned as we follow this incredible hunt, and we look forward to sharing many more successes along the way!
