LandWater explains and shows the expected coverage of rain for the entire west coast, central and southern parts of Namibia.

Folks please please PLEASE take care and do not take chances with flood waters

Hoaruseb hit the ocean again today

Hoanib is in full flood past Khowarib

Uniab has blocked off Terrace Bay and is in full flood past Palmwag

Koigab has blocked off C34 and C39

Aba-Huab and Huab are in flood

Ugab is in full flood, Brandberg White Lady Lodge received 95mm in 24 hours and the lodge is now blocked off on all sides. Guests currently there can't leave and no one can get to them. They are safe. C35 is slippery and washed out.

Omaruru is on its way to Omdel Dam strongly again.

Swkopmund is flooded

C14 has major slippery parts

Road to Waterberg is cut off with flooding

Gravel roads around Otjiwarongo and Otavi are slippery like soap, you'll skid and slide into the road side, almost like I did this morning at 06h25 while only doing 20-30kmph

Rivers of Hadap and Fish are in flood, Naute is over 50% full as of this morning,

Heavy storms driving to Deadvlei and dunes

Tsauchab and tributaries on flood again
