Whispers of the Namib Night
Beneath the vast Namibian sky,
Where silence sings and stars drift by,
The Milky Way begins to gleam,
A silver thread, a stardust dream.
The koekerboom, with arms outspread,
Stands ancient guard near riverbed,
Its silhouette, both strange and wise,
Etched in black ’gainst velvet skies.
No city lights, no buzzing sound,
Just desert breath and sacred ground,
Where time dissolves, and hearts can hear
The galaxy’s soft voice draw near.
So come, lie back, let wonder stay—
In Namibia, where night meets day,
And stars like lanterns softly sway
Above the soul, and far away.
