A learned tourist told me this. It is always wise to listen and learn from everyone.

(AI/Google wording)
-Fe₂O₃ (iron(III) oxide or hematite) and Fe₃O₄ (iron(II,III) oxide or magnetite) are both iron oxides, but Fe₃O₄ contains both iron(II) and iron(III) ions, while Fe₂O₃ only contains iron(III) ions.
Here's a more detailed breakdown:
Fe₂O₃ (Iron(III) Oxide/Hematite):
Contains only iron in the +3 oxidation state.
Occurs naturally as the mineral hematite.
Is a dark red to reddish-brown solid.
Is paramagnetic, meaning it can be weakly attracted to a magnetic field.
Fe₃O₄ (Iron(II,III) Oxide/Magnetite):
Contains both iron(II) and iron(III) ions.
Occurs naturally as the mineral magnetite.
Is a black solid.
Is ferrimagnetic, meaning it exhibits strong magnetic properties.
Sometimes formulated as FeO · Fe₂O₃.
Fe3O4 has an inverse cubic spinel structure.

The Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety, and Security has launched its new e-Visa.

The initiative aims to streamline the visa application process for international travellers.

It introduces an online platform where eligible visitors can apply for visas before their arrival, reducing waiting times at entry points.

The visa requirements will be implemented starting 1st April 2025.

Citizens from 33 countries, including Armenia, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, and Germany, among others, will now be required to obtain a visa to enter Namibia.

The visa fee is set at N$1,600 (about €84).

Travellers can apply for the visa online in advance through the official e-Visa portal; this pre-approval aims to expedite processing times upon arrival.

Visas can be obtained upon arrival at major entry points, including Hosea Kutako International Airport and Walvis Bay International Airport.

Minister of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety, and Security, Dr. Albert Kawana, stated that the visa regime is based on the principle of reciprocity, ensuring fair treatment for Namibian travellers and strengthening the country's diplomatic position.

He also said that the introduction of the e-Visa system is expected to enhance the tourist experience by simplifying entry procedures and attracting more visitors to Namibia.
