Leopard Tracking on Okonjima with my dear friend Martin is one of those moments that adds so much happiness and value to my life every single time. My happy day is when I arrive at Okonjima and my sad day is when I have to leave….but thank goodness there is always a next time 💕 and I can’t wait 🥳

Pardon the soft voice, it was early and I was fighting a cold 🤧 But I think everyone will understand how special it was for me to be there, enjoying the silence and the water, which is not a given in the Namib desert which makes it even that more special. Nature is just so beautiful 😍

MAWENZI It comes from Mount Mawenzi, the second-highest peak of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. The name is rooted in Swahili, often interpreted as meaning “broken,” “jagged,” or “irregular,” describing the peak’s dramatic, rugged spires. Unlike Kilimanjaro’s smooth summit, Mawenzi is wild, steep, and untamed—respected rather than easily conquered.
