While on an excursion through the sands of the Namib desert, we were lucky enough to spot one of the desert’s most elusive residents — the Sidewinder (also known as the Peringuey’s Adder or Namib Dwarf Sand Adder).

This incredible snake is a master of camouflage and movement, known for its unique sideways slithering tracks, a beautiful signature left behind in the dunes.

🌍 Endemic to Namibia, this species is found only in the Namib Desert, making sightings like this both rare and thrilling.
