"Just back from an unforgettable few days at Nambwa Tented Lodge and Kazile Island Lodge, hidden deep in the wild beauty of Namibia’s Bwabwata National Park.

Carrot the office cat had some poignant contributions to make during our Friday management meeting. Obviously we'll be taking all his points onboard, especially the one regarding extra fluffy cushions for winter, and planting a cat nip bush in the garden...

A big win for Namibia 🇳🇦🦏

Gondwana Collection Namibia, ERP Conservation Foundation, and MEFT have just turned 116,000 ha of Gondwana Canyon Park into what will be the world’s largest privately owned Black Rhino sanctuary.

This is 30+ years of work restoring old farms into healthy desert habitat and now, for the first time in over 150 years, black rhinos are returning to the Fish River Canyon.

Future plans include rhino tracking, educational safaris, and a new Rhino Centre at Canyon Roadhouse.

A huge congratulations to everyone involved! A proud moment for Namibian conservation and for the rhinos who are finally coming home.

Waterfalls Lodge just opened up in Vic Falls, and it’s a solid pick if you’re after comfort without blowing the budget. 🇿🇼

It’s super close to the Falls (walking distance, even in flip-flops) and has everything you need: comfy rooms, good food, and warm local hospitality.

There are some great activities too, like cruises on the Zambezi, Chobe day trips, and white-water rafting, all easy to add on.

All in all? Simple, affordable, and right where you want to be.

If you're heading to central Etosha, Ongava is definitely a favourite.
Just outside the Andersson Gate, it’s got prime access into the park - but truth be told, the Ongava Reserve itself is just as exciting.🐾

Anderssons at Ongava has big, stylish suites, great food, and an epic underground hide with eye-level views of the waterhole. Too lazy to leave your room? No stress, each suite has a flatscreen TV with a live stream of the waterhole action.

Megan & Vanasha volunteer at Hope for Life, and after hearing about the work being done, their clients, the Richards, donated some much-needed supplies for the foundation’s little ones.

At ATI, every team member spends half a day each month volunteering at a project close to their heart, like:
🧡 Hope for Life – supporting vulnerable mothers and babies
📚 Physically Active Youth (PAY) – providing after-school education & sport to underprivileged children
🐾 SPCA – rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals

We also collect a NAD100 Future Namibia Fund contribution per booking (which we match), and donate to the following charities:

– Catherine Bullen Foundation
– Giraffe Conservation Foundation
– Desert Lion Conservation Trust
– Little Bugs School

The Chobe Princess isn’t your typical safari...it’s slower, quieter, and a whole lot closer to the water.

Small enough to meander into the quieter corners of the river, you’ll have front-row seats to elephants crossing, hippos grunting nearby, and some of the best birding around.

Spend your days on the water, try your luck at fishing, visit a local village, or just sit back with a drink and let the river do its thing.

One of the best waterholes in Africa? We think so.

Elephants, black rhino, lions… they all show up here, especially as the sun starts to dip. And yes, the floodlights mean the sightings don’t stop after dark.
