"This year we, Ursula and Georg from Selfkant, are traveling with Yvonne for the fifth time. Before our first trip with her, we asked for a photo so we would know who would pick us up at the airport in Windhoek. Well, what can I say, her wind-swept, red, blue and green colored hair reminded me of a bird of paradise like you see in documentaries about New Guinea. But that first impression changed drastically when we were on tour with her. We experienced a self-confident woman who mastered every challenge and always available to assist us. This positive impression solidified on our subsequent trips. Even the Red Drum Pass, the Richersveld Park, the Divorce Pass or the deep sand of the Hoanib River, which would certainly make many a male sweat, didn’t pose any problems to her.
