Giraffes might share those iconic long necks and beautiful spotted coats, but every giraffe has a pattern that is uniquely its own.

🦒 No two giraffes have exactly the same arrangement of spots; think of it as nature's version of a fingerprint.
Their spots aren't only there to make them look fabulous, either. The patches help break up their silhouette against the trees, shadows and sunlight of the savanna, making them harder to distinguish from their surroundings.

🦒 Even better? A giraffe keeps its basic spot pattern throughout its life, although the spots can become darker as it gets older.
